Austrian Far Right Leader, Jorg Haider, Dies in Car Crash
Haider is on the left, you should know the nut job on the right
Jorg Haider, the controversial Austrian far-right political leader who was leader of party while they were in the 2000-2006 coalition, died in a car crash near his home twon. The Austrian president has called his death a 'human tragedy.'
His time is government and the rise of the right in various European countries is the real human tragedy though. With their anti-immigrant platforms, politicians like Haiger breed contempt towards those with a different shade of colour in their skin.
They may have beautiful ski pistes, but it's intolerable that Austria allowed a man to get and stay in power for so long despite his citing the 'proper labour policies' of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany in a criticism of the Austrian government's record.
In addition to this he once commented on Nazi concentration camps in a parliamentary debate as 'penal camps'.
Let's hope the Freedom Party that he once led takes a crash in the polls soon.
