Anti-semitic Polish priest condemned by Jewish Congress leader
Poland's pope, Teddy Rydzyk, with his heavenly crown
World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder appealed to Pope Benedict XVI yesterday to crack down on the anti-semitic Polish Redemptorist priest and media mogul, Fr. Tadeusz Rydzyk.
The two religious leaders met in the pope's summer home in Canstelgandolfo, Italy.
Despite the pope's visit to Poland last year, where he covertly reprimanded the controversial anti-semitic, xenophobic, and homosexual hating cleric and his powerful media establishment, the Polish church hierarchy have been too afraid to tackle Rydzyk due to his large amount of loyal followers. They fill the pews and collection boxes of many churches each week and thus are deemed more an asset than a liability by the Polish bishops.
While faithful adherents to Rydzyk are relaxing from their ultra-nationalism/catholicism, they tend to be fond of clawing journalists faces till blood is shed.
The Media is looked upon as more poisonous than Satan's ear wax.
Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth - and even if you haven't plucked out their eyes or teeth they'll rip out yours if you dare criticise the church. You may be accused of being the devil's whore, or even worse - an E.U. loving liberal. Uuugh!
They deem all lefties as blasphemous bum-chums and want to excommunicate en masse those who dare question their fundamentalist Catholic viewpoints. Thankfully, there is a Fr.TeddyWatch website to monitor their misdeeds.
There are also many sane people in the church who also despise their misuse of Christianity to bolster their own prejudice. But until such time as Teddy boy is banished from the church and sent to work in a chicken factory as penance (or to Brussels to work with the E.U.), without his collar, the pin up boy of discrimination in Poland will continue to exert harmful influence on the minds of the easily led faithful amongst Poland's middle-aged and elderly population
